Pec pod Sněžkou is a town in the Czech region of Hradec Králové. Pec is located in the Giant Mountains at the foot of the Sněžka mountain. After the end of World War II, tourism has evolved in this region.

Do you like train tours and sightseeing? Královec offers the possibility. It is a tour between Jelenia Góra (PL) and Trutnov (CZ). Train station The tour is only in the weekends, from the beginning of May until the end of August, and takes place every 2 hours at the station in Královec.

Chapel of Virgin Mary - 50 km.  - 1.05 hrs from Camping Královec
A baroque chapel called Hvězda (Star) is probably the most visited place of the Broumovwalls and it is also a very important intersection of the tourist trails. The star-shaped chapel of Virgin Mary was built in 1733 thanks to the architect K. I. Dientzenhofer. There is an Alpine-style restaurant, close to the Hvězda, open all year, with beautiful views of the Broumov Basin and the Javoří Mountains. Hvězda can be reached by car (there is a small car park there) or on foot through tourist trails of the village of Hlavňov or Křinice.
